Solar panel installers in Grays

We install residential and commercial solar across Grays and the wider Thurrock area. Whether you need a new rooftop array, battery storage, an inverter upgrade, or a survey before you apply for grants, our team delivers MCS-compliant workmanship from Braintree, Essex, with the same engineers handling survey, installation and aftercare.

Roofs and housing in Thurrock

Inter-war and post-war semis and terraces, modern riverside apartments and new-build estates, and extensive commercial and warehouse roofs. We size the system to your actual roof and consumption at survey — never from a postcode.

Planning permission in Grays

For most houses in Grays, roof-mounted solar is permitted development and no planning application is needed. Flats, listed buildings and unusual installations are the exceptions. We check your property's status with Thurrock Council as part of the survey.

Coastal installations

Grays is a coastal or estuary location, so we use stainless or coated fixings, sealed cable glands and, wherever possible, indoor positions for inverters and batteries to protect against salt exposure.

Grid connection

UK Power Networks is the distribution network operator for the whole of Essex. We handle the G98 notification (systems up to 3.68kW per phase) or G99 application (larger systems and most batteries) on your behalf.

BlankSolar is fully insured and MCS-certified. We also install across the wider United Kingdom — contact us if your property is outside Grays.
