What to expect on install day
A typical home installation is planned around scaffolding, roof work, and electrical commissioning. Here is how the day usually runs.

Once you have accepted a design, we order equipment, book scaffolding where it is needed, and agree dates. Domestic installs are often completed over one or two days. Commercial roofs, re-roofs, and systems that need a DNO approval can take longer, and we will tell you that before you book.
Before the team arrives
We confirm parking, access to the loft and consumer unit, and where the inverter and any battery will go. If other trades are on site — roofers, for example — we coordinate so panels are not fitted onto unfinished work.
You do not need to clear the whole house. Clear routes to the consumer unit, meter, and any agreed indoor equipment locations.
On the day
Roof. Mounting rails go on first, then the modules, then the DC cabling back to the inverter location. Bird protection is included where the design specifies it.
Electrics. The inverter, AC connection, and any battery are fitted and tested. We work to current wiring rules and leave the consumer unit in a safe, labelled state.
Commissioning. We test the system, set up monitoring where the equipment supports it, and walk you through what the display or app is showing.
After we leave
You receive handover notes, warranty information, and the documents needed for export registration. If something does not look right in the first days of monitoring, call us — early questions are normal.
Scaffolding is struck on the agreed day, which is sometimes after the electrical work if weather or access requires it.
