These terms explain the basis on which you may use the BlankSolar website and give a summary of how we contract for solar and battery installations. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by BLANKSOLAR LTD, trading as BlankSolar, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17176287. Our registered office is Unit G4, The Plaza, 1 Rutherford Park, Braintree, Essex, CM77 7AU, England.

2. Using this website
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You may view, download and print pages from the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not:
- copy, reproduce or redistribute any part of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission;
- use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or that interferes with its operation or security;
- use automated tools to scrape or harvest content or contact details from the site.
We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the site without notice. We do not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted.
3. Information on this website
The content of this site is provided for general information about our services. It is not technical, financial or legal advice and does not constitute an offer capable of acceptance.
Any figures relating to system output, energy savings, export income or payback periods are illustrative. Actual performance depends on your property, roof orientation and shading, your energy use, equipment selected, tariff rates and weather. We will give you a property-specific performance estimate as part of your written quotation, prepared in line with the standards that apply to our accreditations.
Information about grants, tariffs and regulations (for example the Smart Export Guarantee or permitted development rules) reflects our understanding at the time of writing and may change. Always check the current position with the relevant body before relying on it.
4. Enquiries, surveys and quotations
Requesting a survey or quotation through this site, by phone or by email does not create a contract. We will contact you to discuss your requirements and, where appropriate, arrange a survey.
A written quotation will set out the equipment, works, price, timescales, warranties and the specific terms and conditions that apply to the installation contract. Those contract terms, together with the quotation, govern the supply of our services. If there is any conflict between these website terms and your installation contract, the installation contract prevails.
5. Your right to cancel
Where you are a consumer and your installation contract is agreed in your home or at a distance (for example by email or telephone), you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Your quotation and contract will explain how to exercise this right, any exceptions, and what happens if you ask us to begin work within the cancellation period.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for services to be carried out with reasonable care and skill and for goods to be of satisfactory quality.
6. Intellectual property
BlankSolar, our logo and the content, design and layout of this site are owned by or licensed to BLANKSOLAR LTD and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Partner and manufacturer names and logos shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are used to indicate the products we supply and install.
7. Third-party links and content
The site may contain links to third-party websites (for example manufacturers, accreditation bodies or Google Maps). These links are provided for your convenience. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party sites.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
Subject to the paragraph above, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on any information published on it. This does not limit our liability under any installation contract we enter into with you, which is addressed in that contract.

10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please tell us. Our feedback and complaints procedure explains how to raise a complaint, the timescales we work to and how to seek independent dispute resolution if we cannot resolve the matter between us.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to this website or these terms is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
